The Firebirds, under the ownership of Kevin Crawford, enter MWOTHL for the 1989-90 Season. And to start the building process, they acquire Dale Hunter with their 1st pick in the Dispersal Draft. Solid Center and their second pick is Goalie Glenn Healy.
Hunter has 10 season in MWOTHL and has career 406 points with 175 goals. Healy is young at 26 years and is entering his 4th year in the league. Last year he started 45 games for Pittsburgh and appeared in 50. He's solid between the pipes and is looking for some good blue line support.
